Stories waiting to be written

Mentoring café for writers
Have questions about your writing? Let’s talk over coffee.
Are you an aspiring writer considering your next steps? Perhaps you’re developing a work in progress, refining an edit, or thinking about publication – but aren’t yet ready, or don’t need, a full mentoring session.
Join me, an author, editor and writing mentor, for a relaxed Mentoring Café session. In a focused 30‑minute one-to-one, you can ask any writing or editorial questions and leave with practical guidance, fresh perspective, and renewed confidence in your next steps.
With just two spaces available each month, this offers a rare opportunity for personalised mentoring in a relaxed, informal setting. We’ll meet in a café in Salisbury city centre (location confirmed closer to the date).
Bring your questions. Leave with clarity – and the motivation to keep writing.
Why work with a mentor?
A writing mentor gives you space to explore your ideas, ask questions out loud, and feel more confident about your next steps. You don’t need a finished manuscript, or even a clear plan. Just bring your questions. Writing, editing and publishing queries are all welcome. You’ll leave feeling supported, clearer, and ready to keep going.
About me
I am a Salisbury-based multi-genre author and founder of the Untold Stories Academy, a business through which I provide creative writing workshops, editorial services, and one-to-one mentoring. The academy grew out of my experience working as a freelance editor, content writer, English tutor, and publishing company co-director. At the heart of my work is a belief in the transformative power of stories, and a desire to helping writers find their inner voice.
