“For last year's words belong to last year's language
And next year's words await another voice.
And to make an end is to make a beginning." ― T.S. Eliot
Another year has begun and we can look forward to the coming months with hope. Old challenges and habits can be set aside and we can fix our sights on new goals and achievements.
The New Year brings a change in many of us. It is a time to reflect on the positive aspects of the previous year, learn from our setbacks and look ahead with fresh energy and optimism.
If the past two years have taught anything, it is about perseverance in the face of difficulty. We never know what life might throw in our direction, but it’s never too late to start afresh.
As T.S. Eliot so aptly points out in the quote above, ‘last year’s words belong to last year’s language.’ Old trials and habits can be left behind and the New Year awaits a new voice.
When one door closes, another opens. Set your goals and dreams for the year ahead, however large or small. Live each moment in a way that is possible for you.
So, as you read this post, ask yourself what your goals are for the coming year.
